Responsibilities: Management, supervision, and design of transportation projects for public agencies and municipalities in New Hampshire and/or MaineSupervision and development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for projects under the oversight of the Director of Transportation EngineeringDirecting and mentoring team members in the production of transportation design projectsDevelopment of project contracts, schedules, budgets, and quality control plansPresenting of highway-related design elements to clients and stakeholdersProviding quality control for construction plans and design documents generated by other team members Qualifications: BS in Civil EngineeringNew Hampshire and/or Maine PE licenseNHDOT, MaineDOT, MTA, and/or Northern New England municipal client experienceProficiency using Bentley MicroStation / OpenRoads DesignerAble to interpret and apply technical information contained in procedures and manuals (including state-specific manuals) to accomplish the design process for assigned projectsAbility to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team to develop solutions to complex design challenges, while adhering to schedule and budgetary requirementsStrong technical writing and communication skillsProgressive experience in highway design for public agencies
