IT Project Manager (Finance)

Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and reporting on cross functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
Essential Duties
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine scope, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
• Establishes work plan and resource planning for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as well as tracking resources against the capital plan
• Develops/implements project plans/methodologies for complex projects, varying between single and multi-discipline practices
• Confers with project staff to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority; Manages the resources of the project
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Perform analysis of project management development and success in order to align with company goals and strategies
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others, and perform cost management analysis
• Prepares business case analysis and alternatives for presentation to senior IT leadership
• Develops and maintains sponsor stakeholder engagement to ensure satisfaction
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
• Generate and/or approve purchase orders, rebills, credits
• Occasional travel may be required
• Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct reports. Proven experience managing project contributors within and across cross-functional teams on projects with senior executive level visibility and enterprise-wide impact.
Experience
• 7-10 years of experience, including 4 or more years managing projects.
• 3+ years' experience with projects related to information technology initiatives, including 2 years focused on Information technology infrastructure initiatives.
• Experienced managing and supporting ITIL focused enterprises that help align business goals, manage service delivery, handle incidents, and maintain service quality.
• Experience with Organizational Change Management and PMO Leadership are a plus.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or MIS) preferred.

Licenses Registrations
Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
