Healthcare Advocate (Healthcare)
Salary Range: $54,209-$87,277 FLSA Status: Exempt
Essential Functions:

Assists employees in identifying high-quality providers; gives guidance in resolving health claims and billing issues; connects employees to appropriate employer-sponsored and community resources; and offers education and support to employees and/or families.
Serves as the primary contact to DeKalb County employees for access-to-care and claims resolution issues.
Monitors and tracks health services complaints and grievances from employees and/or families.
Attends training and orientation activities for health advocate programs; contributes to planning, implementation, and evaluation of health advocate programs and events; and attends periodic health-related meetings as necessary.
Serves as a spokesperson for DeKalb County's health advocate role and Risk Management division as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; three years of experience in a health-related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
