Payroll/HR Team Manager (Project Management)
The Shared Business Services Center (SBSC) is seeking a Payroll/HR Team Manager! This position serves in a leadership role on our team of highly motivated, customer-service driven individuals. The SBSC Payroll/HR team manager is responsible for supervising, training and mentoring our team of payroll specialists. Our office works remotely approximately four days per week, while reporting to campus at least one day per week. We utilize several tools that allow us to communicate effectively and efficiently. Having experience with PeopleSoft, federal, state and institutional policies are a plus! The SBSC Payroll/HR team manager oversees and ensures daily operations run smoothly.
The HR/Payroll Team Manager must be able to multi-task, stay organized, manage a large volume of requests and remain calm under pressure. SBSC currently provides support to approximately 150 departments on Norman campus. The workload we ask our staff to support is large, but we are able to do this because of managers who keep our specialists organized, on task and supported. Qualified candidates should have a strong understanding of educational institutions and/or HR/payroll processes or have experience working in an organization with similar functions/processes.
The Duties:
Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
