Product Management Sr. Advisor - Express Scripts Pharmacy - Hybrid (Finance)
Overview:
The Home Delivery Product Strategy team provides leadership and strategic direction to support the development of new solutions and ongoing management of products/programs tied to Express Scripts Pharmacy and EnGuide Pharmacy. This includes identifying needs across multiple lines of business (commercial clients, health plans, Cigna, Medicare, both clients and members) to ensure that new and existing pharmacy solutions are meaningful while delivering sustainable value to the business. This team operates in a fast-paced environment driving significant opportunities and collaborates with multiple functions and businesses within Express Scripts PBM and Evernorth businesses.
Job Description:
The Product Management Senior Advisor will independently drive product/program initiatives that enhance the customer and client experience and brings more profitable business to Express Scripts Pharmacy. As business cases move through the product development stage, the Senior Advisor will be responsible for implementing the solution to bring it to market. S/he will manage a portfolio of product development projects in various stages of the product life cycle and will be responsible for final product design, market positioning, operational setup, internal/external communications strategy and overall customer/client experience design. This role will be responsible for working with partners throughout the organization to bring new offerings to market.
Essential Functions:
• Leverage business knowledge, combined with research and insights, to find improvement and white space opportunities to grow the Pharmacy business. Supports the product lifecycle, from idea generation to practical activation, and ongoing management.
• Build out product based on development parameters, iterating as needed. Leads cross functional teams comprised of underwriting, pricing, operations to bring the product to market.
• Work efficiently with multiple internal and external stakeholders to overcome design, build and launch challenges.
• Own Product GTM sales success components, including client targeting, analyst modeling and rec engine incorporation, sales playbook development and battlecards. Partner closely with GTM Sales Support team on training, sales forums and internal communications.
• Optimize existing product offerings including targeting, positioning, regulatory impacts and program growth across the product life cycle.
• Influences product positioning, launch and overall communication strategy. Socialize to confirm full organizational alignment and support.
• Understand and incorporate the customer point of view and needs throughout implementation process.
• Supports pharmacy acquisition to advance pharmacy growth among addressable consumer market.
• Lead multi-functional project teams and project manage deliverables to ensure milestones are met and timelines are met.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience within healthcare / PBM industry / Pharmacy.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, product management, or business development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree or MBA desirable.
• Experience with SAAS technologies and HTML development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to influence without authority.
• Be detail oriented, highly organized, and an excellent collaborator.
• Self-driven strategic thinker with demonstrated decision-making capability.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Consultant mindset with ability to quickly master new areas of understanding. Highly versatile team player.
