Full Time Cake Decorator (Finance)

Cub is looking for talented and passionate Cake Decorator to join our team in Forest Lake. Emphasis in this position is to ensure consistent product quality in meeting daily needs in the bakery department. This position requires creativity, attention to detail and on-going customer interaction while maintaining production requirements. This position requires knowledge of bakery production and product preparation, food safety regulations, judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing and math. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. Assignments and work direction provided by Bakery Manager or person in charge

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

1. Assist customers

2. Prepare bakery products ensuring adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies are available

4. Stock, rotate and face bakery product

5. Assist with department merchandising as directed

6. Perform clean-up of department

7. Follow all store and department policies and procedures

8. Performs other duties as assigned or delegated

*Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 50lbs occasionally
• Reaching, standing, turning, stooping/bending and walking
• Judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math
• Equipment operation (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixers)
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
