Graphic Designer - Sports & Event Marketing (Information Technology)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Digital & Print Design:
Design compelling visuals for digital marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, website banners, email newsletters, and digital ads. Create engaging print materials such as flyers, posters, brochures, signage, event materials, and merchandise designs. Develop templates and design assets for use across multiple platforms, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Maintain and update existing design assets to align with evolving brand guidelines.
Branding & Identity Development:
Assist in developing and maintaining the companys visual identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.Design logos, brand elements, and style guides to support corporate and product branding. Ensure that all graphics adhere to brand standards, typography guidelines, and color palettes.
Social Media & Content Creation:
Design social media assets, including static posts, carousels, stories, and animated content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Work closely with content creators and social media managers to develop visually engaging campaigns. Edit and retouch photos, adding creative elements to enhance engagement.
Motion Graphics & Video Editing (if applicable):
Create simple animations, GIFs, and motion graphics for social media, presentations, and digital ads. Assist in video editing for promotional videos, event recaps, and online campaigns.
Website & UI/UX Support (if applicable):
Design website graphics, landing pages, and UI elements that enhance user experience. Work with web developers to implement design updates and improve site aesthetics. Optimize images and graphics for web use to ensure fast load times and high-quality display.
Event & Promotional Design:
Develop visuals for special events, tournaments, trade shows, and promotional campaigns. Design event branding materials such as banners, credentials, tickets, and stage backdrops. Coordinate with vendors and print shops to ensure high-quality production of event materials.
Creative Strategy & Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts. Participate in campaign planning, providing visual direction and input. Present design concepts to stakeholders and make revisions based on feedback.
Asset & File Management:
Organize and maintain a library of digital assets, templates, and design files. Ensure all design files are properly labeled, stored, and accessible for team use. Manage licensing and sourcing of stock photos, fonts, and other design elements.
Market & Trend Research:
Stay up to date on design trends, competitor branding strategies, and industry best practices. Experiment with new design techniques, tools, and software to improve creative output. Conduct A/B testing of design elements to optimize engagement and conversion rates. Stay updated with industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) and other relevant tools.
