CNA Job Responsibilities:
Assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, incontinence care if needed, assist with putting on night clothes, nail care, oral hygiene, and skin integrity maintenance.Monitoring vital signs, monitoring Oxygen Concentrator and tubing throughout your shift, facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan, and performing range of motion exercises.Preparing healthy, fresh meal in accordance with the client's care plan and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift, Meals on Wheels dinner might be availableAdhering to infection control protocols.The use of Anti-bacterial wipes during your shift to wipe down door handles, knobs, counters, tables and other surfacesAdministering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and ear drops.Conducting household support such as laundry, folding, putting away clothes, washing dishes, and dusting to maintain a safe and clean home environment for the client, preparing the bedroom for nighttime routine, preparing the home for bedtime by shutting off lights.Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating activities to create joyful moments.Skilled in assisting with transfers, if neededProficient in dementia care and techniques that encourage the clients to preform nighttime routine and to be comfortably in bed before shift end time.Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone during your shift, such as document O2 readings, times that you have monitored the O2 concentrator and tubing. CNA would document mood, appetite, bowel movements, voiding, med reminders, and activitiesHome Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
