Lead Application Developer - Hybrid (Information Technology)

Position:                      Lead Application Developer

Office Location:         Philadelphia, PA

 

Duties: Develop and design solutions for front end systems. Participate in end-to-end software process development of feature from requirements gathering, development, to testing and production deployments. Monitor production servers and provide support for issues. Collaborate with other cross-functional teams for timely, on-point software delivery. Provide technical support and assistance within the team to meet project timelines. Develop, maintain, and administer Liferay-based web portal solutions, customizations to the core Liferay product, and Spring Java APIs that enable business functionality. Conduct and participate in technical architecture reviews to validate the solution's conformance to customer and systems requirements. Produce system documentation including technical requirements, user stories, architecture diagrams. May work remotely within normal commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements: bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technology field plus 8 years of post-bachelor experience. Experience must include the following: Liferay Portal Administration/development and Java development.
