Research Assistant Professor, Neuromuscular Aging After Stroke - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, McGovern Medical School (Finance)
Position Key Accountabilities:
This position is under guidance of Dr Sheng Li to develop and lead research in neuromuscular aging and sarcopenia after stroke using advanced technologies, such as HD-EMG and ultrasound imaging, and in developing rehabilitation interventions and strategy. Collaboration with other faculty members is strongly encouraged.
A significant start-up support is available for superior candidates with current research grant(s). Recent doctoral graduates with great potentials will be considered, but will be appointed as a post-doctoral fellow.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD) and recent post-doctoral training experience related to the topic of neuromuscular aging after stroke. Grant proposal writing experience is required.
