User Support Specialist (Finance)

Description:

Provides technical support on hardware and software on various platforms such as VAX/VMS, UNIX System, MSDOS,
WINDOWS NT and McIntosh .

Job Duties:
1. Provides technical support on hardware and software on various platforms.
2. Provides services to users: checks them in and out of the facility; checks materials in and out; provides
computing information; and directs users to appropriate party.
3. Controls monitors and print queues and printers; assists with operations and modifications to file and print queue
system.
4. Performs preventative maintenance on printers, computers and peripherals.
5. Monitors user area for proper use and observance of site policies.
6. Assists with training room setup and user documentation; opens and closes job site.
7. Assists with communication wiring and hardware/software installation, relocation, and troubleshooting.
8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education: Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical
functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment
of a high school diploma or GED.

Experience: Requires a minimum of six (6) months of directly job-related experience.
