Records Management Intern (Administrative)

Position Responsibilities
Assist in organizing, filing, and retrieving records, both physical and electronic.
Scan documents and other records to create digital archives.
Enter information into records management systems and databases.
Support special projects related to records management, such as data migration or records retention.
Classifying and filing documents according to established procedures.
Assisting with the disposal of records in accordance with established procedures.
Regularly traveling to our off-site warehouse in Jersey City for large-scale archive reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Some experience in records management or related fields is a plus.
Some heavy lifting required.
This is a part time position, 2 days per week in our SOM New York Office. Compensation for this role is $23.00/hour.
