Shermco U.S. is seeking a Field Service Manager at it's Kansas City, Mo field office.
Field Service Manager
The Field Service Manager will be responsible for managing a team of field service technicians who provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of technicians, providing a culture of safe work and have excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of field service technicians
- Ensure that all service calls are responded to in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide technical support to the field service team
- Develop and implement training programs for the field service team
- Ensure the safety of technicians and others
- Monitor and report on the performance of the field service team
- Ensure that all service reports are completed accurately and on time
- Work with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met
- Provide feedback on service standards, safety standards, and customers needs.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in managing a field service team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical background in electrical or mechanical power systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel as needed
