Plant Manager - Menomonee Falls (Agriculture)
Develop and maintain manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, and production costs
Ensure that the waste streams are appropriately identified, handled and profiled for disposal
Establish plant standards for world class production floor organization and aesthetics including required metrics
Execute production and quality control standards.
Develop budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
Provide guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs
Ensure all established costs, quality, lead times, and delivery commitments are met
Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment
Review production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports
Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives. Coach, develop and train staff appropriately so internal advancement and succession planning is in place.
Train and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and ESH regulations.
Manage the hazardous wastes program. Review and update the Hazardous waste management program and the contingency plan
Responsible for the management of direct reports, including pay administration, setting goals, prioritizing workload, and measuring the work performed.
Ensure the emergency response equipment is available and properly maintained. Act as an alternate Emergency coordinator whose duties include the assessment of a situation involving the release of a hazardous waste and the implementation of the contingency plan
You Have:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. Advanced education and professional training (Lean) will be favorably viewed.
At least ten (10) years of experience in diversified manufacturing operations. This experience must include several years of leading a manufacturing operation of comparable size.
Must possess high level of integrity, the ability to influence outcomes, a highly energized team-based work style, strong project management skills, and an overall profile which inspires confidence at all levels.
Proven experience in designing, developing and implementing continuous improvement/lean initiatives, and a leadership style which effectively aligns purpose, process and people.
Travel up to 10% of the time.
