Accountant 1 (Administrative)
Job Summary: This position will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports, assisting with the general ledger, record payments and disbursements/accounts payables, reconcile account balances, work with external auditors; provide technical accounting support in the areas of accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable and maintain accounts of all municipal financial transactions, ensuring compliance with all financial policies and procedures in the Finance Department.
Class Characteristics: This is a full-performance exempt classification level.
