Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources, helping manage 750-850 team members.
The ideal candidate will have previous Assistant Director/Director of Human Resources experience in a luxury property, is fluent in Spanish, has a clear understanding of California employment laws including FMLA, LOA, Workers comp along with working knowledge of recruitment/employment visas, managing benefits and facilitating orientation.
Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

As an Assistant Director of Human Resources, you would be responsible for assisting the Director in the direction and administration of the Human Resources function in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
