Cybersecurity Specialist (Finance)

Responsibilities:
• Generate scripts and queries in Microsoft (MS) Access and using SQL.
• Perform database queries and generate reports to support QC review of deliverables.
• Perform data analytics using tools like Microsoft PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau.
• Manage large datasets, typically databases and photos, for reference and record purposes.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, data forensics, and perform minimum programming languages to support linking datasets or databases together to conduct data analysis.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with and ability to input Risk Management Framework for cybersecurity of systems.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
The salary range for this position is $53,000 to $75,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science with an emphasis on cybersecurity.
• Previous Tetra Tech work experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 25%.
• Qualified applicants will have experience and proficiency with C, CSS, Django, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Met Lab, Perl, Python, R, SQL, and VBA. Other programming languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of gathering system requirements for Risk Management Framework.
• Candidates will have experience using MS Office applications and will be proficient in Access, Access forms, Excel macros, SQL queries and VBA scripting to process data and automate tasks.
• Experience with tools such as MS DOS batch files, MS Powershell, MS SQL Server, Autodesk AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS, or MS Visual Studio is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI or other Business Intelligence related tools is preferred.
• GIS experience preferred.
• Interest or experience with AI, machine learning, and ChatGPT is desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimum oversight while maintaining schedule discipline.
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedules.
• A valid driver's license.
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

The noise level in the primary work environment is usually moderate, i.e., business office with computers, printers, etc.
Language & Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as scientific reports, engineering drawings, operation and maintenance instructions, and user manuals. Ability to write clear and concise sections of technical reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and clients.
Other Skills: Instructions: Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet software. Ability to work on and prioritize a variety of technical assignments and complete work satisfactorily and on schedule.
