Conduct routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems. Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and heating pumps. Performing installations of new heating and cooling systems. Maintaining accurate records of equipment repairs and maintenance.Performs duties necessary to keep the physical structure of ESH in good repair. snow removal of all hospital and clinic grounds and landscapes which includes the operation of electrically powered and gasoline-powered grounds keeping equipment and machines.Responsible for repairs to mechanical system, Boiler maintenance and cleaning. Replace valves when necessary. Replace broken water lines, install new water lines, replace water valves.Perform electrical compliance testing of outlets, replace outlets and light switches when necessary. Replace breakers, reset tripped breakers, rewire light fixtures, do preventive maintenance on emergency lighting in fixtures, Repair cords with proper ends. Install conduit and wire on newly bult walls. Replace light fixtures on the outside of the buildings.Completes assigned preventive maintenance on all compliance related equipment.Safely operates light vehicles such as pick-up trucks, Skid steer or riding mowers and portable power tools and equipment such as saws, grass trimmers, snow/leaf blowers, sprayers, paint machines and other grounds keeping equipment by obeying applicable traffic laws and following operator instructions, and wearing appropriate safety items such as goggles, gloves, or other appropriate protective clothing.Required to be in the on-call rotationPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements: HVAC CertificationEPA 608 Certification type 2,3 or Universal Certification Required2+ years of previous maintenance experience preferred.
