As Senior Staff Application Architect, you will be a member of the Blackboard Architecture team, tasked with architectural oversight of Anthology's Blackboard Core and Premium offerings. This position guides the architectural direction of our products; is involved in identifying and tracking current risks and future trends; gets hands-on with solution design, vetting 3rd parties, and complex coding and triaging; and is a self-driven technology leader capable of collaboration and clear communication.
You will partner with various development teams, product managers, and UX designers to foster the delivery of modern Teaching & Learning capabilities. Finally, you will aid in research of new technologies, explore innovation opportunities using AI, and design cloud native technology stacks for new service development.

Pay range is $170,200 - $215,000/year depending upon experience. We use national and industry-specific survey data to assist in determining compensation. Additionally, we consider factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles will have variable pay.
