Training and Quality Assurance Manager (Information Technology)
Develop and deliver SOPS and training programs for landscaping teams, focusing on best practices, equipment usage, safety standards, and efficient work processes.
Provide hands-on, in-field coaching and mentorship to landscaping staff and managers.
Ensure that training materials are up to date with industry standards and company policies.
Assess training needs and recommend new programs to improve skills and operational efficiency.
Quality Assurance/Control:
Perform regular on-site inspections to monitor landscaping project quality, ensuring alignment with company expectations and client specifications.
Establish quality control measures to maintain consistency across multiple projects.
Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues that arise during or after project completion.
Safety Management:
Develop and maintain company Safety Calendar with topics, agenda, and supporting materials.
Conduct training sessions to reinforce safety regulations and equipment handling procedures including "Train the Trainor" sessions to the appropriate team members.
Promote a culture of safety by consistently monitoring compliance and addressing safety concerns in real-time.
Assist HR with maintaining detailed records of training sessions, quality assurance inspections, and team performance to ensure all employees are participating.
Prepare and submit regular reports on training outcomes, quality trends, and improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and any regional/local safety requirements.
Snow Operations Management:
Oversee snow removal activities for designated areas, ensuring timely and effective clearing of snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and other properties.
Manage and schedule crews, ensuring proper coverage during snow events, including pre-storm preparation and post-storm clean-up.
Monitor weather forecasts and ensure readiness of staff and equipment before storms.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure expectations are met and problems are resolved quickly.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscaping or a related industry.
Previous experience in a supervisory or training role is preferred.
Strong understanding of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment.
Experience with quality assurance/control processes, ideally in a hands-on environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and inspire a diverse workforce.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to travel across the region to different job sites.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
