The IT Vice President of Global Infrastructure and Operations is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and management of the company's global IT infrastructure and operations. This role ensures the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems, networks, and services across the organization. The IT Vice President will work closely with other senior leaders to align IT initiatives with business goals and drive innovation in technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement the strategic vision for global IT infrastructure and operations. Provide leadership and direction to the IT operations team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all IT systems.
• Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including incident management, problem resolution, and service delivery. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of all IT systems and data. Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and controls to protect the company's information assets and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT Infrastructure and Operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Oversee the procurement and management of IT assets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing IT operations team. Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to understand their needs and deliver IT solutions that support business objectives. Communicate IT strategy, goals, and performance to executive management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field. A master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) is preferred.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a focus on global infrastructure and operations.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Experience with IT security and compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
