Metrology Applications Specialist II (Finance)
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a Metrology Applications Specialist II for our Manufacturing site in Ave Maria, FL. The Metrologist Applications Specialist II leads the introduction of new Metrology equipment applications and systems programming to support manufacturing, such as CT scanners, CMMs, and Vision systems. Manages high-level projects, develops Arthrex global Metrology standards, researches and develops inspection methods, provides high-level support, and mentors Metrologists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Mechanical Aptitude. Full working knowledge of machining properties of common metals and alloys. Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints. General knowledge of drafting concepts.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Zeiss CMM, CT Scanner, and vision system programming skills.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Strong ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to communicate ideas and issues effectively verbally to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
