What We Do:
Applies space planning and project management principles and methods in the coordination and implementation of all relocation activities and less complex construction alteration projects throughout Bank owned buildings and leased space. Serves as design lead on all projects and develops and directs the implementation of programming and planning associated with projects for improvements to interior spaces.
Your Role as a Space Planner & Designer:
Manages and supports all phases of the design process from inception through completion. Including but not limited to; programming, space planning, schematic design, design development, furniture (specification and purchasing) and project budgets; serves as “Owner Representative” at design and construction meetings.
Provides support and serves as a subject matter expert for the Real Estate Design team for day-to-day facilities planning and move activities; works with Project Managers to support major renovation projects that fulfill business and customer needs.
Consults with various areas of the Bank on small renovation and refurbishment projects. Makes suggestions and recommendations on concepts such as space plans and furniture/finish selections to meet business area objectives; can demonstrate the overall merits of the recommendations to stakeholders in a way that gains their support and achieves consensus.
Conducts surveys to document existing space conditions; coordinates survey results in conjunction with mechanical, electrical, audio visual and structural considerations and constraints to create detailed plans, elevations, layouts to document proposed changes.
Works with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers on the specification of furniture, finishes, signage and services; reviews specifications and completes acquisitions as per Bank guidelines; coordinates and supervises deliveries and installations; works with installation crews on the placement of pieces.
Participates in the review of all construction drawing documents coordinating necessary reviews with stakeholders
Work as a liaison and communicator between business leaders, stakeholders, end users, architect and engineering teams to ensure that all planning and move activities are performed in a timely and high-quality manner.
May work overtime to complete relocations and installations.
Travels to and from all other Bank locations as required.
What We are Looking For:
Has relevant work experience in space planning, interior design and architecture. Has practical knowledge of design and project management principles and methods which includes the ability to read architectural/engineering drawings.
Knowledge of the construction industry and an understanding of construction terminology, framework and general building codes
Strong technical skills including Auto CAD, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of office systems furniture and general finish specifications.
Proven ability to handle a variety of simultaneous projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing business needs.
Strong oral and written communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to influence decisions.

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 / year
