Order Picker Position (Transportation)

An Order Picker is responsible for selecting and gathering products from the warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role typically involves using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks to pick and transport items to the packing or shipping areas. The order picker ensures accuracy in fulfilling orders, meets productivity goals, and follows safety and inventory control protocols. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Order picker duties and responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Performs daily safety audit of powered equipment
2. Pulls product to fill customer orders while verifying the accuracy of the picking and packaging.
3. Prints labels to be placed on orders before placing the order on the conveyor.
4. Ensures that racks are organized, the warehouse is clean, and product packages are in their proper locations.
6. Performs various warehouse and shipping tasks, as required
