Area Managers (AM) train and manage an average of forty to fifty employees in 5-8 different properties. They coach and counsel employees, inspect buildings, monitor employee productivity, market the property to increase revenue and ensure we are providing a clean and safe environment for employees and guests. Each AM diligently observes service issues in their buildings and directs employees to execute solutions which please our guests. Area Managers are paid to achieve revenue and profit objectives. Under the AMs direction QAR scores are maintained at a satisfactory level and budget targets for Net Revenue and Net Operating Profit (NOP) are achieved. The AM is partner to other AM/Directors of Operations and other home office staff. AMs are responsible to consistently enforce policy, and procedures for the properties under their direction.
