SR CATEGORY MANAGEMENT MANAGER II (Finance)

- Develop and promote merchandising and marketing strategies to establish and maintain a best-in-class status in the market and achieve expected financial results
- Champion new product development and technologies through innovation and modernization to best meet evolving customer and economic dynamics
- Analyze and react to available data points to best position each product/category such that expected growth and sales potential are achieved
- Manage strategic relationships with business partners and negotiate favorable terms within each of the specific industries regarding products and services
- Manage legal/contractual work specific to partnership and products within assigned categories
- Maintain expert level knowledge of market trends, industry insights, regulatory compliance, and current government regulations
- Develop annual budgets and key performance targets, ensure budgets are in line with overall strategy and generate appropriate returns
- Develop eCommerce strategies to enhance and grow the business to consumer channel
- Partner with Marketing and divisions to drive awareness of products, category initiatives, and deliver a high degree of in-store execution
- Review, measure, and report key product/category vendor metrics on a regular basis
- Travel to conduct internal division and external customer/market visits to understand local market trends and competition
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
