The Department of History, Humanities, and Languages at the University of Houston-Downtown seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach in the following disciplines: History, Geography, Philosophy, French, and Humanities.
The candidate must plan and create course syllabi, and lectures, provide quality instruction and guidance, follow established institutional guidelines, evaluate student performance, and maintain a positive educational environment in the classroom, etc.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Master's degree with at least 18 hours of graduate course work in the particular discipline.
All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
