• Job leads a team, has no authority to hire and performance-manage the team.
• Job leads/supervises/manages 6-15 employees • Assist in setting up lines and area according to established procedures and specifications.
• Verify correct setup and running of equipment to obtain desired results.
• Inspect product periodically through the shift to verify specifications are being met.
• Assist the operator in troubleshooting equipment when necessary.
• Verify paperwork is being completed by all employees on the line or area throughout the day (Safety Chain) and before being turned in at the end of the shift
• Be able to perform operator job functions when not present.
• Keep area clean.
• Follow Safety lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Communicate any issues to the appropriate people.
• Follow instructions well and assist others as needed.
• Take responsibility for production goals and take appropriate steps to try to obtain these goals.
• Take the initiative to speak with employees about their respective jobs and their performance.
• Be able to both take and give instruction and ensure that the instructions are followed as intended.
• Enter daily production information into databases as needed.
• Making sure all materials are being issued correctly
• Train employees on equipment as needed, including hands on training.
• Understand and follow/instruct others on GMP's.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures.
