Clinical Manager - ENT (Fishing)
Advanced ENT & Allergy highly values both the team member and patient experience and is seeking a like-minded individual to lead and guide our clinical team. Given the practice's history and projected growth, the incumbent will need to be experienced, flexible, and forward-thinking. While based at our office located in New Albany, IN office, travel to other company locations will be required for the support of our Team and patients.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Directs and supervises employees engaged in the office operations.Hires, trains, and evaluates center operations' employees in consultation with Human Resources, supervisor and the doctor.Manages employee performance to ensure that employees skills meet and/or exceed the expectations of the position they hold.
Ensures that all staff is meeting expectations of physicians. Educates staff regarding expectations, office processes, insurances, and patient flow as required.Responsible for ensuring that the sites have adequate coverage/staffing with consideration to facility budget, patient flow, and physician expectations.Builds relationships of trust between the doctor(s), staff and the company and advocates for the needs of the doctor(s), staff and the company.Develops and implements ENT Center training programs as necessary in the areas of back office support, insurance verification, OSHA, emergency procedures, etc.Projects to employees and maintains a positive & solution driven demeaner towards the systems, processes and changes in healthcare delivery.
Clinical:
Directs and supervises employees engaged in the office operations.Ensures Clinical Departments are neat and clean, and equipment is in good order at all times, including any safety and maintenance checks.Monitors and maintains proper supply levels, places orders and/or delegates the ordering accordingly to ensure that the office has adequate supplies. Ensures that supply spending is within the office budget.Fills in for direct patient care as needed due to staffing shortage. This can include vacation requests, sick days and peak patient flow times.Assists in the development and implements ENT Center & Allergy quality assurance and utilization programs.Develops patient education programs as required.Ensures compliance with applicable government laws, rules, regulations, AAOA and Company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.
