Production Supervisor (On-Site) (Finance)

This is a highly visible and collaborative supervisor / leadership position with responsibility to plan, organize and control production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard. This role requires results driven leadership. Key areas of accountability include hands-on participation in production planning & scheduling; control / management; budgeting; resource management (equipment and people); networking and development; continuous improvement & ISO compliance in these areas; and the overall adaption of best practices in these critical functions - to best meet customers' requirements the company's continued success.
LIAISONS WITH:
Production Manager, Production Shift Supervisors, Production Scheduler, Maintenance technicians, Production associates, Contractors and Consultants, equipment Sales representatives, 3rd parties, and others as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE, Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or construction.
Progressive work history with an emphasis of machine operation and project management.
Tow motor experience and prior certification required.
Experience in plan scheduling and planning
Management of multi-shifts and/or multi-plant operations.
Ability to develop standardized work procedures.
Advanced level in Microsoft Office computer applications.
Advanced analytical and trouble solving skills.
Computer aided design (CAD) experience a plus but not required.
A.S. Degree in engineering, business or a technical discipline or advanced military or formal technical training programs preferred
5+ years of experience working in an extrusion and/or batch mixing facility preferred
Demonstrates, reliability, perfect attendance and a high level of safety and quality work.
