The Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) program is aimed at delivering mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services to severely impaired individuals who suffer without access to essential treatment. Reporting to the Assistant Regional Director, the Clinical Manager serves as a liaison between MH Clinicians and the Assistant Regional Director of Clinical Programs in larger clinic settings. This role involves direct oversight of clinic operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with Tulare County contracts.
How will I contribute
Supervise clinic staff, including clinicians, case managers, peer supports, and administrative support, conducting annual evaluations and performance reviews. Ensure all staff meet productivity standards and adhere to performance expectations, including attendance, timesheet accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Monitor documentation requirements in the Avatar system, ensuring staff maintain adequate skills in electronic record-keeping. Develop, implement, report, and analyze outcome measures to assess program effectiveness. Foster positive working relationships with partner agencies, ensuring KV's business interests are upheld by staying familiar with contracts, policies, and procedures, and attending relevant meetings. Evaluate ongoing program strengths and weaknesses, providing guidance for development and monitoring of procedures. Directly supervise program staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Lead program development initiatives to enhance service delivery. Provide direct mental health services to consumers as needed. Enter all service information into the Tulare County HHSA Management Information System (AVATAR) by completing Electronic Service Activity Logs (ESALs) at the end of each shift when managing a caseload. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning and success of the program.
What I bring
Masters Degree in Psychology or related field Maintain licensure as a LMFT/LCSW/PhD Class C Driving License Two years post licensure experience in a mental health setting and three years of supervising/directing the activities of other clinical staff in a mental health setting, or two years of post-licensure experience plus two years of experience in staff supervision, administration, and personnel management in any related human service endeavor. SMART CARE electronic health information, outcomes measures, guide staff to their potential to keep at the level of 70% productivity and progress note timeliness. Follow all KV policies and procedures, administrative directives, all relevant county, state and federal regulations and any performance obligations contained in KV program contracts. Routine monitoring of SMART CARE, staff compliance with documentation requirements and that staff has adequate skills in the use of SMART CARE. Ability to ensure a positive and effective working relationship with partner agencies and that Kings Views business interests are monitored and maintained. Assess ongoing program strengths and weaknesses then provide appropriate development and monitoring of program procedures. Positive leadership and clinical expertise in diagnosing, planning and treatment of MH disorders.
