MQ: Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. The Prescription Drug Misuse Education and Research (PREMIER) Center at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy invites applications for TWO different postdoctoral fellowship positions. During each 12-month position, the postdoctoral fellow will participate in data collection and analysis, conduct research and assessments with faculty and students in the College, prepare manuscripts, present at conferences, and participate in grant writing. Candidates nearing graduation are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates for each position are expected to have strong quantitative research knowledge and excellent communication capabilities especially writing skills.
The PREMIER Center is a multi-disciplinary research center that houses multiple unique data resources.
One fellowship is focused on data science while the other is focused on health services research. Applicants with experience in secondary data analysis, biostatistics, or public health are encouraged to apply. Experience in research topics related to the mission of the PREMIER Center is preferred, but not required.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must have earned a Pharm.D. or a Ph.D. in health economics and outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or other related fields.
