Pharmacy Procurement Analyst - Retail - Stillwater, MN - Hybrid (Finance)

Job Overview:

Complete a variety of specialized duties that support functional operations in pharmacy procurement. Work closely with the manager to drive process change, make pricing decisions, maximize margins, and build relationships with vendors. Conducts and analyzes business and information technology processes and prepares essential groundwork. Alerts project leaders to potential risks and issues of importance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize multiple data sources, including pharmacy benefit reimbursement, pricing, and competitive data, to implement price changes.
• Identify opportunities for improved vendor costs.
• Collaborate with Supervalu Pharmacies and headquarters teams to drive inventory process changes and develop pricing strategies.
• Collect data/information for department use in special projects or reports.
• Sort, file and maintain invoices, receipts, contracts or other special department documents.
• Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools.
• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience:

• 1-4 years of general business analysis experience required.
• Previous experience in project analysis.
• Pharmacy and/or inventory experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

• Must be systems-oriented, enjoy working with new tools and be a self-motivated learner.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment:

Hybrid Role:

• This position follows a hybrid schedule working in the office and at home. The acceptable split between onsite and remote work is determined by the manager. Hybrid associates may choose to work from an office on a more frequent basis than required.

Travel (minor):

• This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
• Incumbent may sit for long periods at a desk or computer terminal.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment during the normal workday.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
