We are looking for a construction professional that has the ability to partner with our Operations Executives to assist in managing the pre-construction and bidding process. This professional should have excellent communication and organizational skills.
What You Will Do:
- Pre-Construction
- Assist with deliverables, i.e. site logistics graphics
- Plan/Manage Project Signage
- Update project schedules
- Assist Cost Planning and Estimating with Value Engineering follow-up
- Manage Building Permits
- Coordinate Job Setup
- Schedule/Facilitate Messer Department kick-off meetings
- Track scope creep during the design development
- Bidding Process
- Manage Bidding Process
- Post-Subcontract
- Follow up on Insurance, contracts, and bonds
- CCIP/OCIP projects - Enroll Subcontractors into an insurance program
- Project setup on iSqFt
- Invitations and follow-up calls to Subcontractors
- Manage Documents
- Drawings
- Specs
- Addendums
- Pre-Bid Questions
- Post-Bid
- Scope Review Meeting Minutes
- Viewpoint Subcontract Entry
- Follow up with unsuccessful bidders to provide feedback
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Mgmt. or related field
- 5+ year of construction project management or estimating experience
- Experience in pre-construction and the bidding process preferred
