Accounting Intern - Summer 2025 (Biotech)

Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS) is seeking to hire an Accounting Intern.The ideal candidate will need to understand basic accounting and finance principles. The candidate is pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and planning to graduate in December 2025 or May 2026.

Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Compiles financial data to aid senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Essential Duties
Prepare journal entries.Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.Assists in financial statement preparation and review.Coordinate with accounts payable and treasury for vendor setup and paymentsAssist the Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager with various accounting or reporting tasks.
