The Nuclear Theory Group at the University of Houston has a postdoctoral position available, starting in the Spring of 2025. Our interests include non-perturbative QCD, lattice QCD, QCD at finite temperature/density, physics of high energy heavy ion collisions, physics of the Quark-Gluon Plasma, equation of state for hot and dense strongly interacting matter, neutron stars. The position is initially for two years, and can be renewed for a third year. The group works in close contact with the experimental STAR and ALICE heavy ion group at the University of Houston. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics.
