Accountant (Finance)
• Prepare and post journal entries into ERP systems, preparing proper support, documentation, and approval for all journal entries.
• Actively participate in the monthly close process, which requires working under time sensitive deadlines
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate/resolve account discrepancies
• Assist controller with budget and forecast preparation
• Review cost center spending monthly with department heads, researching costs as requested
• Assist with process improvement and cost control projects within the company as required
• Provide quarterly and year-end reporting schedules, memo statistics and balance sheet review commentary
• Interface with internal/external audit, business management, controllers, and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) reporting teams
• Perform peer Sox testing
• Assist with annual physical inventory accounting processes
• Perform financial analysis, exercising sound judgement, as well as, knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Cross-train on other general accounting tasks within the team as needed to provide coverage during absences
• Other duties as assigned• Bachelors Accounting, Finance, or equivalent degree
• 3 years of general accounting experience
• 1 of that being in general ledger and financial accounting
• The individual must be able to articulately communicate with various levels of the company both within and outside the financial organization.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Develop new tools to improve processes and perform cost and financial analysis for company operating units.
• Individual will be involved in problem-solving and team.

• Team member will be interfacing with peers from around the globe.
• Team member has demonstrated the ability to work under the pressure of reporting deadlines.
• This role will be responsible for supporting entities in the US and internationally as we continue to grow as an organization both through acquisitions and organic growth.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a plus
• Oracle EBS experience preferred
• Position may at times may require additional work hours during monthly closing and year end cycles
