Job Overview: The developer team lead will join the Americas IT software and architecture team. This business centric IT team allows for business-focused development of new, cutting edge, solutions as well as integrating overall global/regional IT initiatives into the business. In this role, the team lead will be responsible for business unit software development activities and best practices. This includes contributing to or leading the development of business unit or region wide software focused on affordability, reusability, sustainability, and state-of-the art design. The role will function in a DevOps environment, being called upon to develop, maintain, and support applications that solve challenging business problems. The team lead would be expected to work independently and/or in conjunction with appropriate business unit/IT leaders or cross-functional teams during any engagement. They would be tasked with understanding technological and business problems and focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions. They must possess the ability to architect or integrate the appropriate solution from the ground up based on a set of business requirements. Primary Responsibilities: - We are looking for a full-stack senior .NET developer to join our team and work on various projects for our clients. - Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for projects, aligning with business objectives and ensuring scalability and maintainability. - Mentor and inspire a regional team of developers, providing guidance on technical challenges and best practices. - Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging not just best practices from the group but also continuous learning, security insights, and excellent user experience. - Act as a liaison between developers and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on the initiatives assigned. - Use your deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps to drive projects to excellent outcomes, on-time, and on-budget. - Interface with business and IT leadership as a trusted partner. - Solve unique and complex problems that may have impacts to the region or company. - Craft modern and advanced IT architecture that is efficient, maintainable, and robust. - Be recognized as an expert within the organization for technical and strategic thinking. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. - At 10-15 years of experience in .NET development using languages such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .Net WebAPI, etc - Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS. - Proficient in Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, etc. - Experience with NoSQL DBs such as Mongo DB or Cosmos DB as well as relational Databases such as MS SQL Server and ORACLE - Extensive experience using Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies. - Strong knowledge of basic web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and under pressure.
