Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a talented Solution Engineer with great attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability to join our software team. You will be responsible for examining all aspects of the Software/Firmware/products/applications/solutions and provide detailed analysis. If you are forward thinking engineer that can bring software quality improvement ideas and new strategies to lead the company forward, we would love to talk to you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Examine software/firmware/tools solution provided to customers
• Examine software/firmware/tools solution provided to customers
• Perform IPMI, Redfish, BIOS, Software Tools validation
• Perform software user interface, functional and stress tests
• Provide feedback to the design team to improve product quality
• Examine and Provide feedback to the system team to improve deployment process
• Utilize analytical skills to validate and verify software/firmware/tools/system issues
• Fine tune Software/Firmware and system deployment solutions and provide detailed report
• Enforce software quality control standards
• Review and analyze on issues reported be PMs, FAEs, Service teams and customers
• Ensure 24-7 around the clock execution on top priority projects
• Maintain the standards set by the company
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software/product/system solution experience is preferred
• Experience in deploying large scale systems/solutions.
• Experience in examining deployment/Hardware/Software/Tools/System issues and finding solutions
• Experience in system configuration management through system life cycle
• Familiarity with SQA requirements and methodologies.
• Ability to adapt quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with a strong passion for quality Solution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $142,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
