Essential Functions Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns from multiple jurisdictions.Maintain and reconcile sales tax accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and timely payments.Research and interpret sales and use tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.Assist in managing sales tax audits, responding to inquiries, and providing supporting documentation.Analyze tax data and transactions to identify potential risks and opportunities for tax savings.Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on company operations.Work with internal departments (e.g., accounting, operations, procurement) to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions.Manage tax exemption certificates and verify compliance with exemption rules.Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing sales tax accruals and reconciliations.Utilize tax software and ERP systems to streamline reporting and compliance processes.
