Overview
The Catheters Inspector at Cook Inc. inspects all processes completed by the production area.
Responsibilities
• Use product specifications and quality control instructions to inspect various catheters
• Use calipers, micrometers, meter stick and various test equipment
• Read and follow detailed inspection instructions while examining the catheters
• Occasionally use a microscope or mantis viewing unit
• Read, comprehend and follow product and packaging specifications and manufacturing instructions
• Complete quality work at accepted department/production determined rates
• Performs work in compliance with Cook Quality Policy Manual
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
• Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds
• Frequent repetitive motion
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; communicate
• Proper attire/clothing and personal protective equipment/clothing as required within Controlled Manufacturing Areas
