Major Duties: Solves complex problems
• Takes a new perspective on existing solutions
• Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
• Works within broad guidelines and policies
• Serve as the primary stakeholder for monitoring digital capability adoption in the Region by keeping the Regional Practice Executives, GDWM Practice and DCPX Practice apprised on adoption success, shortfalls and other areas where additional support is needed.
• Act as the primary stakeholder for the execution of GDWM in the Region
• Execute the Holistic Advice rollout, GDWM New Hire training, Feature Release, & Continuing Education Training Plan
• Coach partners and leaders on emerging digital capabilities to drive adoption, encourage new behaviors and foster acceptance. Create stakeholder alignment by advancing the business rationale including the practical use of technology to enhance the end-user experience.
• Participate in GPS development discussions and help to define requirements
• Collect and deliver feedback and suggestions to GDWM leadership
• Own best practices within the GDWM Practice and drive adoption of best practices
• Support New Business growth by presenting GDWM and Private Passport to COIs and prospects in Region
• Review client and prospect profiles and collaborate with the local client service teams to deliver GDWM best practices in support of driving positive business outcomes
• Support the delivery of Holistic Advice to drive growth in fiduciary appointments, use of Donor Advised funds, etc.
• Share successes and challenges, and provide ideas on ways to duplicate successes and address challenges
• Be proactive, creative, and offer novel ways for the GDWM Practice and DCPX to engage partners on core initiatives, to drive adoption and confidence around core initiatives
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality by proactively engaging teams in feedback loops and advocating for improvements to satisfy their requirements. Mobilize teams to participate in testing to validate new functionality.
• Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit/function
• As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
• Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
• Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
• Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas
Knowledge: • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
• Applies best practices and how own area integrates with others
• Energetic self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and responds to changes with flexibility. Exert a high degree of initiative and follow-through. Self-motivated to build and develop effective relationships with partners and leaders
• Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
• Knowledge of income tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, investment and asset allocation planning, risk management planning and cash flow planning usually acquired through elated work experience is preferred.
• Preferably possesses knowledge of Goals Driven Wealth Management, Private Passport and Partner Workstation.
• CFP or CFA designation or equivalent desired.
• Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Experience: • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• 4 to 7 years of work in the financial services industry
