FedNow TechOps Engineer (3rd shift) (Maintenance)
The Federal Reserve has developed a new interbank 24x7x365 real-time gross settlement (RTGS) service with integrated clearing functionality, called the FedNow Service. This service enables financial institutions to provide their customers with the ability to send and receive payments any time, any day, and have full access to those funds within seconds. This position is a unique opportunity to be part of this mission-critical Federal Reserve initiative that is transforming the payments landscape in the United States.
As a Senior Engineer, Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in FedNow's Technical Operations (TechOps) team, you will be part of a team that provides 24x7 support for the Technical Infrastructure and Services of FedNow. During your shift, you will be responsible for providing primary technical support of FedNow's Development, Quality Assurance, Depository Institute Testing, and Production environments. The Sr. Engineer provides individual ticket management during their shift while providing technical guidance to junior colleagues as needed.
This is a 3rd shift role (12am - 9am ET), Monday through Friday with rotating weekends.
While open to location and remote work, residence near a Federal Reserve facility is preferred
You will be a key member solving incoming events / incidents while also performing work from a prioritized backlog of requests across all our cloud accounts and environments. For example, you might during a shift assist in the completion an upgrade or product implementation while also solving an incoming customer incident or request. As a member of the Technology group, you will make sure our systems live up to their KPIs. As a member of the team, you will continually look for opportunities for training in existing and new technologies with direction from senior colleagues. Additionally, you will participate in cross-training opportunities based on your strengths and with direction from team leaders. This position is a shift position.

It is anticipated that this position will start as first shift. As business needs evolve, this role may require flexibility to move to second or third shift and/or possible weekends. If this role moves to 2nd shift, a 10% premium would be added to the base pay for those hours worked. If this role moves to 3rd shift, a 12% premium would be added to base pay for those hours worked.
