AVP- BA/QA Analyst (Finance)
What you will be responsible for
As a Business Analyst you will
• Lead the end-to-end analysis in Credit and Market Risk measures and Stress Testing scenarios, planning and execution working with IT agile teams
• Partner with internal business users to analyze platform requirement and prioritize demand
• Work with the business and development teams to define requirements, product backlog, stories and functional specification documentation
• Ability to query database to analyze data using Python/SQL queries and draft the functional specification documentation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector
• Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and run meetings/workshops to explain and walk through business needs
• Liaise with scrum masters, business/systems analysts and software engineers to assist in resolving systems issues.
• Participate in daily stand ups, iteration planning, product demos and retrospective meetings
• Works with and contributes toward company-wide established goals & objectives
• Identify, solve or escalate potential issues and risks during development life cycles
• Collaborate with cross functional agile teams across Risk IT to deliver consistent and timely results with high quality
• Anticipate critical issues and risks, and takes responsibilities for resolution including escalation where appropriate

• Hands-on analysis experience Securities Finance, Repo and foreign exchange business lines
• Strong understanding on credit and market risk measures includes - EAD , PFE, VaR, Stress testing Exposures and CCAR L5 reporting
• Experience in analyzing and implementing Stress testing pricing shocks in Algo risk engine model
• Experience in coordinating CCAR operational activities and executing Securities Finance Credit risk measures implementation
• Good understanding of various regulatory frameworks like Basel III and CCAR, Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Corporate data governance
• Work with Dev and QA teams to resolve any questions and line-up the stories for production release
• Support production data quality issues to provide root cause analysis and solution to fix
• Manage backlog refinement in Jira in collaboration with business users to draft the story details
• Demonstrate mastery when it comes to understanding end-to-end application framework
• Create test cases for system processes based on functional specification
• Experience in working with multiple IT teams to define, prioritize and create detailed requirements, EPICs, stories and dependencies etc
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, facilitation, and presentation skills
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Masters or Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years proven related experience working in Financial domain
• Experience in Jira, Confluence and SQL queries
• Experience in drafting functional specification documents and project plans
• Experience performing data analysis and data exploration
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
