Pest Control Technician (Finance)
Job Description:
The Pest Control Technician role is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary production facility and beingthe main liaison with the pest control company. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team
building skills to support site production goals. This role specializes in sanitation and pest control for the entiresite in order to provide a clean, safe and orderly environment that exemplifies a world class manufacturingfacility. A willingness to obtain training in pest control, arc flash and electric training is a must for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Tracking pest control activity and working with pest control company and ISS to ensure actions arecorrected.
- Ability to open up electrical cabinets, inspect and clean them as required once appropriate training isreceived with in the safety guidelines.
- Working knowledge of food safety.
- Responsible for assisting all areas in maintaining high levels of daily cleanliness and adherence to siteGMP's.
- Prioritize work on a daily basis by identifying pressing issues, through communication with each operator, knowing shift production plans and awareness of area.
- Promote high quality team environment through effective teamwork and self-management with a positive attitude.
- Performs all assigned activities and job tasks within their area.
- Understands production schedules as they relate to shutdowns.
- Detailed cleaning of large areas and workspaces.
- Detailed cleaning of large pieces of manufacturing equipment.
- •Understanding of microbiological and pest control as it pertains to a food manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work with all Teams at the site on Sanitation, Pest Control and Housekeeping projects.
- The ability to work in enclosed spaces.
- The desire to work as an interactive team in a plant setting.
- When assigned to a specific operation area, complete all duties associated with that assignment in asafe and efficient manner.
- Perform sanitation duties as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, with particular attention tolock out/tag out procedures. Complete required documentation.
- Assist the plant to meet or exceed production goals.
- Other duties and responsibilities throughout the plant as assigned by Manager.
- All pest control recommendations are handled and corrected in a timely and efficient manor to improve the sites
- performance. Working with the pest control official to create action plans and to clean up issues.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Most recent Performance appraisal with a minimum of "Meets" expectations and not more than 1 year old.
- No active disciplinary notices.
- Acceptable attendance (less than 5 incidents and no discipline above an Initial Warning).

- 2 years of work experience within manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated competency in computer and pc software including MS Office and email
- Knowledge of inventory control principles
- Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan work on a daily basis, work independently and be a self-starter and a highly motivated individual.
- Ability to work with a team and effectively interact with other departments.
