Warehouse Team Member (Information Technology)
Keep warehouse area clean and orderly
Band slip sheets and frames
Move material and supplies in warehouse
Track completed pallets
Prepare dunnage for pickup
Complete all necessary paperwork
Operate powered industrial equipment which could include, but is not limited to forklifts, order pickers, manual or electric pallet jack equipment or MEWPS equipment.
Responsible for following food safety/quality/regulatory policies and procedures, executing responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and reporting food safety/quality/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager
Qualifications:
Understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and food quality standards is strongly preferred
Self-directed and personally motivated
Attention to detail
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while focusing on meeting or exceeding customer expectations
Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs
Able stand for up to 8 hours per shift
Able to communicate and work well with others
Able to contribute to a positive work environment by being a team player
Good attendance and performance track record
High School diploma or GED preferred. Post-secondary education is a plus
Strong general mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills
Able to effectively time manage and prioritize job functions
Knowledge of food safety and food quality standards is strongly preferred
Basic math and computer skills are required
Forklift experience preferred, but not required
Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This position is located at our Neenah, WI warehouse and works Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
Potential for exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, wet environments, and other potential hazards exists.
